A neurotic monologue based on Erlend Loe’s novel. A man living in Norway is afraid of water and has to write a travelling brochure about the country of 1000 lakes. The man has discovered how to protect his simple life from chaos: Everything should be kept as quiet and stationary as possible, but when he goes to Finland, chaos still breaks out. He has to lie his way to a Finnish grandmother and her Finnish dinners and a not very insignificant knowledge of the Finnish language. Presented with success at Mungo Park 2003.
