Grand Guignol is the melodramatic spook effects’ classic form of theatre, so that together with the more absurd comical stage form has inspired the author to write a play like no other ever seen. So the gripping gravity and the revolting agony of truth and beauty, which appear through its grotesque comedy, make this so-called tragic farce something unique in the history of the theatre.
The farce is not only a wonderful challenge for a daring and experimenting set designer but it also offers four dream characters.
