Villa and Milla are linked like an old couple, two jealous sisters, and two children in a sand pit. They do not trust anything or anybody and especially not one another. Palsson’s text is a mosaic of microscopic images of their inner lives. They are speaking machines. Deadlocked. They are constantly searching for the overview and the full picture. However, they are too close to themselves. The complete picture is fragmented like the life experience: A mosaic. It won 6 Griman prizes including best play and best playwright.
