This richly allegorical comedy is set in a storybook world, where three
innately honest Teddy Bears attend a very disturbing picnic in the woods,
which results in a dead clown. Unfortunately the clowns are in charge and
telling them the whole truth about what happened, could see the Bears
hanged. So they seek guidance in the ‘art of lying’ from a weird doll, who
is boiling up an elixir of youth. She agrees to help the Bears if in return,
they bring her a gruesome ingredient for her potion. But it all goes
comically wrong and the Bears end up getting captured by a sinister
clown, however in captivity the bears learn, not ‘the art of lying’, but how
to manipulate the truth because in the end ‘the truth’ is just a story.
