To ridge married couples from the northern degrees of latitude have rented a de luxe villa at the French Rivera and are about to have their yearly dozes of sun, sex and haute cuisine, but the owners of the villa, a French couple, have decided to go on holiday in the same period of time, not knowing that the rental agency has already let out the villa. They show up unannounced, while their tenants are swimming in champagne and having sultry excesses by the pool. This is the beginning of an entertaining comedy about marital frustrations and cultural differences. Fine roles for a cast of couples between the age of 30 and 60.
