A simple story about the immensity of life: A man is on his way to Helsinki to look for a job. He has barely gotten off the train before he is robbed and mistreated. He ends up in the hospital and dies. All of a sudden he awakes, unaware of his identity. With no name and no identity, he has to start his life all over again. He settles down in the poor part of the city, where he meets Irma who shows him true compassion. He finds true love in her. We represent the Staatsschauspiel Dresden version.
