Timothy has only just begun to perform in front of a live audience with his Elvis impersonation. He has received his Elvis costume, but is not quite confident in his role yet. Josie has spent her life offering herself up, but is retiring. Her birthday is coming up, but she doesn’t feel like celebrating. The guest list is no picnic either: her daughter, Brenda-Marie, who dreams about becoming an Olympic ice-skater; Martha, her Irish cleaning assistant, who believes that a visit to Graceland will redeem her and Lionel, Josie’s last client. The party looks disastrous until Timothy enters as Elvis. This is a charming comedy, offering a series of eccentric characters and unpredictable events.
