A young man has fled from his poor, native country. His journey takes him from the hopeless and necessitous Estonia in the East to the rich country of possibilities, Denmark in the vest; in pursuit of a job, possibilities and money. However, he quickly learns the harsh realities of being a refugee in Denmark. He cannot find work and must rely on his good looks to earn money. He becomes a nude model in a drawing course where the women are charmed by him and lure him into performing other services. He gets a woman pregnant and has a son whose upbringing he is not a part of. When he is hired to look after the laboratory animals at a laboratory he steals a genetically manipulated mouse – and this has consequences. The man from Estonia returns to the society that wants nothing to do with him. An extremely relevant story about the life as a refugee and a foreigner.
