This play unfolds in a hotel suite in Frankfurt, where an exhibition of British folding doors stands. The main character is John Garrard, a hyper and pushy salesman who has taken his profession to an utmost grotesque level. Even when seducing a devoted secretary, his only concern is what he can get out of it. Additionally, he is not shaken the slightest when the hotel has a serious bomb threat, as nothing will stop him from reaching his goal; a goal that no one can see nor understand.
