Red, a school mate, calls Måvens. He has become a journalist and wants to know if Måvens’ candy shop is fairly authentic. Confused, Måvens confirms it is and hangs up the phone. As his shitty life, and the fact that he can’t seem to find himself agitates him to bits he decides to die in the recess bed. Unexpectedly Peder from school calls. Måvens decides that if Peder can find him he should be able to find himself as well. Peder saw Måvens on the front page of a magazine. Thanks to Red, Måvens from Måvens’ Candy Shop has become famous and hordes of people come to see him with their own eyes. But something in Peder and Måvens’ relationship is wrong. After years of therapy, Peder has come to have it out with Måvens and tell him that ever since school, Måvens has used Peder and made him into something he wasn’t. Måvens had it all, and Peder is left empty-handed. In a jiffy Måvens and Peder become puppets in a big media-scenario. A chaos pilot, a column writer and a psychologist quickly grasp the potential in the crisis and Peder is offered to tell his story in a talk show. Måvens, who is still confused about the whole mess, attempts to win back his distorted friend. By means of his new celebrity status, he is granted permission to join the show and the truth is revealed on screen.
