Drama in two acts
1 Set
The main hero in Storey’s drama is a teacher at an art school in a provincial town in England. He is far too involved in his own personal problems to be able to teach his students properly. However, on this particular day, a surprise awaits for his students, as he has somehow arranged a rape incident that can either be seen as real or pretended and which leads to his dismissal. The message in this play is evident but it offers a fine dialogue in a most realistic setting.
