Jack and Leo are two young and poor British actors who tour America with their miserable show ”Scenes from Shakespeare”. They are suddenly headed towards a brighter future, when they discover a way to make a lot of money: A dying millionaire, Florence, is looking for her two missing nieces, Maxine and Stephani, to share a 3 million dollar inheritance with a third niece, Meg. Disguised as two female heirs, the two friends must use their finest acting skills to cheat the wealthy family and get the money. However, things get a bit complicated once they discover that the real Stephani is deaf and unable to speak. Furthermore, Jack and Leo fall in love with the young women – and how do you seduce a woman when you are dressed like a woman yourself?
