At a dinner party, five persons meet: the unhappy couple Donna and Frank, Donnas mother, the wholesaler George and Frank’s friend, Hal. As the evening progresses, the persons take turns in confiding their fears and anxieties to the audience, while they struggle to keep up appearances at the dinner party. The title KVETCH refers to the kind of nagging, that originates from inner insecurity and fear. Premiered at Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, 1986.
