Ophelia lives with her father. She awaits his presence with great longing. She is almost dying from anxiety. In her loneliness, Ophelia reinvents her family and brings back her dead mother. She also creates a brother with whom she develops a gentle, loving relationship. This beautiful play is a deep and touching fairytale about love and power, addiction and the freedom of imagination. The play is the winner of Schaubühne’s First Dramatist Competition.
