A young playwright is hired to write a play about the German reunion. He was just a child, when the wall fell and further more he grew up on a small island far away from Berlin. Since he’s a stranger to the epoke, he travels home to the island in order to use his father’s memories and experiences as material for the play. However, the historical starting point is slowly taken over by his own personal story – a family tragedy lies beneath. The play premiered at Staatstheatre, Stuutgart, in 2009.
