A ghost story about love – a surreal nightmare in a loveless family. It’s Christmas Eve and Oscar is 60. Against his will, he lets his children celebrate it: Patrik the hedonist; Mona, mother of four and the youngest daughter Kajsa. Actually, Oscar is only concerned with finishing his revenge on his heartless wife Anna, and the rest of the world. By his side is the student Fritz, his true admirer and apprentice who will help him prove to the family that deep down, they love him. However, love cannot be forced. During the night, ghosts appear from a loveless past. A dead housekeeper turns back time and grownups return to their childhood. In the pursuit of the love they never had, people transform into cannibals and blood thirsty monsters. Premiered at Teater Plaza, Stockholm 1994.
