It is Christmas time in Lönneberga and everyone is busy with preparations for the grand evening but inevitably Emil disturbs everything with his mischievous tricks. Even the guests get to feel his inventiveness during the evening when he invites a pig in for supper, as one do according to Emil. Though among his unfortunate deeds, he manages to spread a little happiness at the poor peoples’ house nearby.
If one has the means to deal with the rather difficult stage directions and SETS suggested, then this play should be a welcome addition to the traditional Christmas shows.
