This is a most hilarious comedy, based on the life of the young melancholic Kafka, whose life was possessed by constant illness and a stroke of genius. Additionally, his Father always carried a warm water bottle on his belly, while his Mother, stuffed with foam rubber, wore a dog collar attached to a long lead around her neck. Both of them wished dearly for their son to marry his beautiful fiancé Felice, whereas young Kafka had no such intentions at all. Throughout the story, the set is picturing a distorted universe with furniture out of proportions, a battery driven parrot and timeless kitsch costumes. Also the language is unique and very humorous. The author of this modern comedy is the young Austrian Franzobel, who previously earned a living by painting but now works as a full time playwright.
