Drama in two acts 2 F / 4 M acrobats and dancers 1 Set with two possibilities The leading character of the play – a professor of moral philosophy – is dictating an important lecture on God’s existence to his secretary while incredible things take place in his home. He is married to a beautiful and bizarre former musical actress, who has a weakness for acrobats, astronauts, psychoanalysis and many other things. The penetrating and sharp dialogue changes from serious metaphysical statements to satirical and playful lines. The play contains confusing burlesque processions with a murder scene and a scene in which a naked lady is exercising in the chandelier.
