This is a Christmas play of a special kind, as it is an account of a meeting between two elderly people in a department store on Christmas Eve. Eventually, they end in a display bed where they share their deepest wishes and longings. Together they imagine that everything will be just fine, as long as you keep your eyes tightly shut. It is Turrini’s most performed play!
