Two young couples decide to isolate themselves from the outside world for an indefinite period in a remote country house. One morning a young girl, who seems to appear out of nothing, stands in front of the door with a blank stare and no voice. Her sudden and unexplained presence so far from everything spreads a discomfort among the four people and they slowly seem to face their isolation but also their human loneliness.
