Drama in two acts
1 Set
The three sons of a labourer come home to celebrate the fortieth wedding anniversary of their parents. Because of the effort of the father all three sons have received fine education and thus the possibility of moving up in life. During the short visit it becomes clear that all the brothers have failed in finding their place in life. They make an unsuccessful attempt to find an explanation. The generation gap, different lifestyles and circumstances prevent the family members from understanding each other.
