I LOVE MY WIFE takes place in the ever so provincial suburb Trenton, New Jersey and revolves around a married couple who are busy planning a ménage à quatre. They are eager to experience the renowned sexual liberation but alas, at the last minute they decide to pull out because, as the gentlemen agree in the song ‘I Love My Wife’, they are respectable people.
In this musical the quartet is on stage and along with the songs, the musicians partake in the story to highlight the behaviour and chasteness of that time.
