At the Australian seaside Hillary lives with her father and her sixteen-year-old son. Her sister Pippa is on visit from New York and the other sister Meg returns from England with her English husband. Reunited after ten years the three sisters again feel the constraints of family life. It is a powerful Australian play that begins as a comedy about identity but develops into a bitter, familial drama.
