This is a drama without any particular action about humans who are constantly seeking something: a relative, a memory, an illusion, even flighty happiness. The play describes a day in the hall of a hotel, ready for demolition – once a nice hotel – a day in the life of the hotel, which also could also be considered a day in the life of America.
