A fable based on Strindberg’s Miss Julie. Frey is a 28-year-old fashion designer and has just returned from Milan. She has inherited a great estate with a forest and goes to see the forest ranger, Jarl, in his cave-like hut. Quickly the nightly meeting develops into an erotic and passionate episode, awakening animal instincts in both of them. Jarl carries around a secret which he would like to keep hidden. In reality, he is a deer and she will have to manage this secret. The text functions of two levels – a realistic one and an alienating poetic one, in which the internal life of the lovers is flourishing rapidly and uncontrollably.
