A fictive narration of Rudolf Hess’ time and thoughts while in the Spandau prison, from after the Nuremburg trials and up until his death in 1987. The author builds up an intelligent monodrama which allows the main character to express his views on political conflicts during the Nazi regime and the post-war period. Certainly a play which offers great challenges for a male actor as well as enabling the director to work expressively.
