This is a nice and wistful tale about a French-Canadian family and its youngster son Bibi Bonnard whose dearest wish it is to travel the world with his uncle Jacques. Jacques is an itinerant photographer who pays his family a brief visit. Bibi instantly wants to leave with him but his, usually permissive, Grandfather defies his wish and together with Jacques he manages to convince Bibi about the sense in staying at home a little while longer.
