A full-length musical in 2 acts.
This musical embraces the hippie culture and its ideas and wishes for sunshine, happiness, peace and love that emerged as a response to the devastating and gruesome war that shocked the world. ‘The Flower Revolution’ warmly and humorously represented joy, endless get-togethers and positive energy. So this is the story about a rootless and powerless youth that after having had enough of the selfish and destructive direction society and the world were headed in, suddenly said stop. The musical is rich on ear-catching songs such as ‘Aquarius’ and ‘Let the sunshine in’ and even though HAIR is more than 20 years its message is perhaps more relevant today than it ever was before.
