A full-length musical in 2 acts, 8 sets

Grease is the musical about the rock’n’roll of the 50’ies, about the energy, awkwardness, clothes, morality and the noisy music that most of all marked that period.
Rydell High School functions as background for two young people falling in love; the cool leather jacket-wearing Danny Zuko and the sweet and decent girl Sandy Dumbrowski. Their ascending love affair is accompanied by a string of ear and soul catching songs and fantastic dance performances. And eventually, Sandy realises that the route of virtue is no fun at all and that it is far more exciting and liberating to be like the others.
The nostalgia of the 50’ies and the issues arising between the youngsters are still contemporary and Grease is not only addressed to teenagers, but also to those of us who were young in the 50’ies.
