The master builder Kári Sólmundarson once raised buildings reaching high above the sky. Now he is old and alone; the ones close to him have left him in different ways, except for the grandchild who shows up once in a while when in need of money. Kári gradually loses his memory – but the most painful memories still emerge. Lilja, an energetic woman of the same age unexpectedly offers help and friendship. An excellent presentation about the human being as it loses its memory long before losing its life. Performed with great success at The National Theatre of Iceland in October 2003.
