In this version of The Tinderbox, which tells the story about a soldier who becomes rich, marries the princess and gains half the kingdom, when helped by a tinderbox and a witch, we are also introduced to many others of H. C. Andersen’s beloved characters. Among those, we meet the Lady with the Eggs, Big Claus and Clumpsy Hans, whom are all woven in nicely, hand in hand with dance routines and songs accompanied by Børge Wagner’s ear catching music.
