The bloody events in Northern Ireland constitute the background of this drama about two young men and a middle-aged women who is the mother of eleven kids. In order to escape from the street fights they seek shelter in the official room of the Mayor of Londonderry by mistake. They pass the time with jokes and games not knowing that outside rumors report that 40 armed terrorists are hiding in the building. They are ordered to leave the building with the arms above their heads and they are shut.
