A comedy about the famous Danish Theologian and philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. The comedy deals with his thoughts and his relationship with his friends and Regine Olsen. The play is loosely based on autobiographic facts and references to early Kierkegaard work such as the thesis “On the Concept of Irony with Continual Reference to Socrates” (1841) and the masterpiece “Either/or” (1843). The title refers to the character of Johannes (Kierkegaard himself) in the “Either/Or” chapter “Diary of a Seducer”. Despite the fact that the tone of the play is light and entertaining, it is severely thought-provoking. An intelligent play about love and philosophy.
