Through many years the newly qualified theologian Anna has attempted to get pregnant with her husband Frank but without luck. Apparently, the Lord does not want Anna to have a baby. When Anna is offered to work as a prison chaplain specially attached to the department of women, she accepts the job as a spiritual advisor to a group of people who are hardly considered to be God’s purest. This is where she meets Kate, a mysterious, reserved inmate who is believed to have supernatural powers. Anna discovers that she is pregnant and it turns out Kate is keeping a secret which will have fatal consequences for both of them….
