FISH FODDER is an insane, grotesque double-dealing, which seems to be characteristic for many of Happel’s plays. A boy called Jorgen disappears from home and in the search a number of different people show up. Jorgen’s parents, Doris and Owen, try to cover up an accident from past and a detective is following a case and chasing two very attractive actresses, Ingrid and Irina. And finally the advertising agent, Albin Müller, who, due to a testicle operation, is suffering just as much as his father, who is eagerly to get his son married. As he tries to marry away his son, the son is already sharpening his knife. He got the idea from a newspaper article: A man who killed his wife hid the murder by feeding the goldfishes with the dead body. Crematories and graveyards are outdated – the fish industry is managed by a youth group. All problems are now being solved in an aquarium.
