Four young people get together on New Year's Eve. As they drink more and more, all that has been concealed and repressed comes to the surface. The hosts vainly try to keep a harmonious atmosphere through the evening. By the end of the night tensions have grown and exploded, culminating in a revealing monologue by each character. In 1996 this play was a great success in Copenhagen and a breakthrough for Bo Hr. Hansen as a playwright.
