Violinist Lusine receives a mysterious tape from her brother. This is the beginning of an unintended journey into the past, hushed up by fathers and mothers. Truth and lies, repression and remembrance, silence and speech interweave with the fate of an Armenian family and the historical events of the last century.
The play had its acclaimed world premiere in June 2018 in Berlin as a co-production between Deutsches Theater Berlin and Schauspielhaus Zürich for the Autorentheatertage Festival, where it won an award for best play.
