Zarah and her friends walks into the woods in search of dangerous adventures. The deeper they get in, the more anxious the friends become and one by one they run away. But Zarah continues calmly through the nocturnal forest and recounts what she experienced. The picture book of the same name (illustrated by Martin Baltscheit) was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2008.
