Christian Lollike’s play is a harsh one, going for some of the mechanisms behind gang rape in a society with an increasing focus on the sexual. The play fragmentarily conveys a fictive rape case and we gain an insight into the lives of the victim and the perpetrators, thoughts and personality both before, during and after. With a mixture of surrealism and unpleasantly intimate realism, Lollike twists himself free from the naked provocation and the pursuing of sensation. With a blend of tragic poetry, street lingo and strong characters, he calls for reflection and insists on soul-searching.
