This outlandish neo-western is set in a saloon where Dogstar, the
quintessential, brooding stranger in town, tries to pay for a glass of water
with a rock, setting off a chain of hilarious events. All the expected
‘western’ ingredients are on show, the seductive saloon girl who needs
saving, (mainly from herself) the bitter bartender with a grudge and the
corrupt owner of the town, who thinks he owns everything he can see,
including the stars. There’s even a renegade gang of brothers who turn up
looking to terrorise the town but as you would expect from a slow-talking
cowboy, Dogstar effortlessly runs rings around them all.
