Benjamin Ruben, 65, became a literary star for an early work, but has not managed to write anything similar since. Martin Wegener is a young aspiring writer who has become the voice of his generation. They have both (and only for money) embarked on a weeklong experiment - a mentoring project sponsored by a cultural foundation. Now they sit in a villa in the countryside surrounded by a pond full of frogs, Martins attractive wife, Gina and the foundation‘s caring Mr. Wangenroth. Soon a literary exchange of ideas escalate into a dogfight between two egomaniacs.
