Aisling and Matt are exhausted by their infant’s colic and plagued by doubts of everything: Relationship status, love, sex, life and death. For the couple, who is struggling to keep their sanity, the last thing they need is the entrance of their friend Tom, who has just come out of a psychotic episode, and Aisling’s sister, Jan, who is struggling with her own demons. Impressively good text where domestic realism is mixed with inner monologues, tragedy and comedy, fast-paced dialogue and lingering thoughts.
