A road movie conveying a story about the two very different young women Charlot and Charlotte, who meet randomly and end up driving through Denmark from Copenhagen to Skagen. On their journey, they encounter a series of various individuals, from the senile Birksted and the psychotic mass-murderer Paul-Teddy, to the theatre group and the elderly residents of a rest home run by a willful matron. The chic city girl Charlot teaches the Naïve and boorish Charlotte about spontaneity, and Charlot becomes more down-to-earth and learns to appreciate her intimate experiences with Charlotte.
