A strong play written in a suggestive form and with a ragged undertone. The story takes place in an American prison cell in which the young Lily – a prisoner of her own mind – is locked up for murdering her mother. The play examines different stages in the young killer’s life and the white cell stages several episodes from her memories. This is a thriller – black as the night, but with a touch of a satirical and subtle sense of humour. Challenging roles for a good acting team. Premiered in Sweden at the Göteborgs Stadsteater in 2008.
