Caren Jeß was chosen the up-and-coming writer of the year in the 2020 Theater Heute year book for BOOKPINK (a German word for the bird chaffinch) which is a collection of miniature plays (the author calls the material a dramatic compendium) about human and social constellations seen through birds. A fine and entertaining material with innovative dialogues and a string of whimsical scenes.
