A young sculptor "borrows" his grandmother's fine antique furniture in order to make an impression on two expected visitors: a painter and a future father-in-law who is very temperamental. A fuse blows and the house falls into darkness. The guests arrive and suddenly the late mistress of the sculptor arrives and the grandmother returns unexpectedly from her journey. Everything is perfectly set for a tragic-comic farce in an unusual way and the writer’s magnificent inventiveness when it comes to situation comedy has no limit.
