The authors Anders Jacobsson and Sören Olsson have written 16 books about Bert Ljung – a series of stories that are highly entertaining, but also contain serious parts about becoming an adult; about girls, diaries, summertime adventures and rock ‘n’ roll. This play is based on 6 books of a series of 16 books. Jon Fossel has picked out episodes and has put them together, creating a story about a few days during a summer holiday. Bert and his friends, Lill-Erik and Åke are on the beach, fishing for crabs, practising their coolness and scoping out girls. Another character in the play is Pauline whom Bert is in love with. The play is suitable for children ages 7 and up.
