Becky Shaw has no family, no friends, no education, no job and no leading role in this comedy. She does, however, have a remarkable ability to stir up the lives of the main characters when she meets them. Max, a cynical financial advisor is set up with Becky by Becky’s sister (who Max is secretly in love with) and her husband. Despite having a catastrophic evening, Becky concentrates all her energy on having Max to herself – by any means necessary. In this play, Gina Gionfriddo examines the line between selfishness and loyalty with friends and family.
