This play takes place among the petite bourgeoisie and is a provoking opposition against the state of the world. With his fantastic imagery, Schwabs manages to touch directly on one’s innermost and deepest emotions, in a very intelligent manner. It is a bitter farce that encourages radical actions and at no point does it get pessimistic.
